Dangers in The Home
Cats love warm cosy spaces and this can lead them in to dangerous situations. Never leave your washing machine or tumble dryer door open as the warm confined space will tempt them to climb in.
If you have flat electric hobs, ensure that your cat is not allowed on the kitchen worktops whilst in use or still hot, as they can seriously burn their paws.
Keep items such as elastic bands out of reach as these are often the cause of breathing obstruction.
Keep electrical wiring securely fastened so that your cats are not tempted to chew or paw.
Do not leave olives (cats love them but can choke on the stones) cling film or cotton wool where a cat can access them.
Cats love to curl up under a recently used warm car, so always double-check before driving away.
