Cats sleep up to 16 hours a day so ensure that they have a quiet, warm place to retreat to, especially when you have visitors or have young children
Ensure that your cat has access to fresh clean water at all times and only feed your cat on premium brand tinned food with an added nutritional supplement
If you fit any type of collar to your cat, ensure that it is of the elasticised variety so that if and when it snags, the collar will come off rather than strangle your cat.
