Meet the Practice

Dee Valley Vets - Meet the Practice.....
Situated in the beautiful Dee Valley, on a hillside over-looking the world famous town of Llangollen, our practice has three surgeries providing a service 24 hours a day and 365 days a year.
We take pride in providing a high standard of friendly, personal service for our clients and their animals, dealing with all domestic animals- pets, horses and livestock.
There are three vets including Clive within the practice, all with their own areas of expertise within general practice, along with another five support staff.

Anne Mann is a local farmer's daughter who attended Ysgol Dinas Brān, where she was head girl. After qualifying from Liverpool Vet School she worked for a number of years in Wrexham, before joining our practice in 1998. Acupuncture is a particular interest..
She has two dogs, a colony of guinea pigs, and numerous waterfowl and chickens.
The latest addition to our veterinary team is Becky Rowe who joined us in 2006. She's originally from Cheshire, but her father now farms on the Lleyn Peninsula. Becky has a degree in agriculture from Harper Adams College and a degree in Veterinary Science from Liverpool.
She has a lurcher and a horse and plays an active role in her father's farm.
Olga Edwards recently celebrated twenty five years at Siamber Wen. Twenty years ago she trained as a dog groomer and this has kept her busy ever since! She is also our office manager.
She owns a dog, a cat and numerous birds and smaller pets.
Lynda Griffiths started at the practice even before Olga(!) but she did leave for a while before rejoining 15 years ago. She does general nursing and works both in Llangollen and Acrefair. Lynda has two cats.
Chrissy Foster has many years of experience in veterinary practice initially in Wrexham (where she was brought up) before joining us in 2005. She also divides her time between Llangollen and Acrefair doing general nursing and reception work.

She has two dogs, several cats, a rabbit and has a particular interest in the care of injured wild animals.
Ann Jones is our senior member of staff in Corwen, having joined us not long after we opened in 1993. She's born and bred in the town and is well known there as an animal lover.
Siān Smith is Ann's daughter:- another animal lover with innumerable pets. She is our newest employee having joined us in 2006.
We also do home visits where necessary and have built an excellent reputation for vetinary care within the region.
