Our Resident Vet
Our resident vet Clive Bourne qualified as a vet from Bristol University in 1983.
After spells in general practice in Bishop Auckland and Selby, North Yorkshire, he came to Llangollen in 1988 in partnership with Mr & Mrs Woodhall. Following their retirement, Clive took over the practice entirely, re-naming it Dee Valley Vets.
Clive has immense experience within all aspects of veterinary care but likes to specialise within the family pet sector of the practice.
In the autumn of 2000, Clive achieved the Certificate in Veterinary Dermatology qualification from the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, after a number of years of study, attendance at British Veterinary Dermatology Study Group meetings, and written and practical examinations. He is the only vet in North Wales to hold this qualification.
He has two dogs, three cats, some tropical fish and four kids!!.
