How do I stop my Dog from Rolling around in the mud and other smelly things ?
First you must remember that this is a perfectly normal things for any healthy dog to do. Some people say that it is a natural instinct that tells dogs that the worse they smell the easier it will be for them to sneak up on prey as it will cover their natural scent.
The best way to stop him from doing this at all is never giving him the chance in the first place. Work on the "come" command and everytime he comes to you away from the smelly rubbish then give him a reward. Work on this consistently and eventually this should pay off as he should come to you everytime he is tempted !
How can I stop my dog from drooling so much ?
Dogs drool for a lot of reasons, including nervousness, excitement, and the anticipation of mealtime and it is a perfectly natural, healthy thing for them to do and nothing for you to worry about too much. Certain breeds of dogs such as St Bernards are more prone to this than others. There are certain things you can do to control the problem such as giving him a chew toy which will encourage him to swallow more. If you are worried then take him to your vet for an examination just to rule out any more serious problems.
I have a very aggressive dog - what can I do ?
Aggressive dogs can lead to all sorts of problems as recent events in the country have shown. If your dog shows signs of aggression such as growling, snarling or snapping, go and see your vet immediately for a behavior evaluation and counseling to help you train your dog.
These following ideas can also help overcome an agression problem:
Socialize your dog so she feels at ease around people and other animals.
Don't put your dog in situations where she may feel threatened or teased, eg if she doesn't like playing with young children, don't do it
Don't let your dog roam free where there are other animals or people around
Train your dog to obey basic commands such as "stay," "sit" and "come

How can we tell when our female dog is in heat?
Female dogs will normally come into heat once every four to 12 months with the average for most breeds being once every six months. You will probably notice some bloody discharge from the vagina and a swollen vulva when your dog is in heat. You may notice "mounting" behavior, also. The heat period can last from eight to 30 days with an average of about 20 days.
I've been adopted by a stray cat and fallen in love with him. The problem is that I already have one very spoiled cat who has been the boss of our household for a very long time. How can I introduce them ?
Firstly I would suggest that you take this cat to your vet and make sure she is clear of diseases and his vaccinations are up to date. Once this is done then it should be safe to introduce him to other members of the family. Give the new cat about one to two weeks in her own room where the two cats can sniff each other under the door. This allows the resident cat to smell the new cat's scent and explore without worrying about having to fight the newcomer.It also allows the new cat to explore the new house and become familiar with hiding areas.
Do not let them together unsupervised, as they could fight and hurt each other. The entire process will probably take about 6 weeks, and even then they may not be the best of friends but can at least be in the same room without hissing at each other.
Can I give my cat a bath and if so how often ?
Cats are generally pretty clean and do not need regular bathing unless they become dirty or have a skin condition. General bathing can be done once a month. Avoid using human shampoos and other human products as they are much too harsh. If your pet has a skin condition, then a special treatment by your vet is wise since special shampoos may be needed for treatment.
